Product Description
Vistech cell culture defender spray has been developed to quickly and efficiently eliminate mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi contamination on the surface of cell culture equipments, like incubators and sterile work-benches. The active ingredient integrates into the mycoplasma/bacteria/fungi’s membrane and compromises its integrity. Other ingredients can quickly enter into the pathogens to kill them.
The potential effects of mycoplasma contamination in biological products are of major concern in research, diagnostics, and biotechnological environments. Lack of mycoplasma decontamination practices result in cross contamination when dealing with cells using affected instruments, laboratory space and inappropriate handling. The problem of contamination in incubators and/or sterile work-benches is often a serious one, leading to extensive damage.
As soon as contamination appears, it is very difficult to eliminate it. Therefore, it is essential to systematically clean and disinfect the incubator and sterile work-benches every 7 days.
