TDB–ATTO647N™-lysine-dextran
ATTO647N-lysine dextran is manufactured by reacting a selected dextran fraction with an ATTO647n derivative. The fluorescent dye ATTO647n belongs to a new generation of fluorescent dyes for the red spectral region and exhibits strong absorption, excellent fluorescence quantum yield, high photostability, excellent ozone resistance and very little triplet formation. TdB Labs produce ATTO647n-lysine-dextran with a molecular weight of 70 kDa.

Structure
ATTO647n-dextran is synthesised from well-characterised dextran fractions derived from Leuconostoc mesenteroides labelled with lysine. Lysine-dextran is then functionalised with ATTO647n under mild conditions to form ATTO647n-lysine-dextran. The degree of substitution of lysine is between 0.01-0.02 and 0.001-0.01 for ATTO647n.
Spectral data
ATTO647N-dextran has an absorbance maximum at 646 nm and an emission wavelength of 664 nm (pH 7.4).
Storage and stability
ATTO647N-lysibedextran is stable for more than 6 years when stored dry in well-sealed containers at ambient temperature.
Solubility
ATTO647N-lysine-dextran dissolves readily in water.
Application
ATTO647n-lysine-dextran provides tools for bioconjugation and fixation. The dye is suitable for single-molecule detection and high-resolution microscopy. Read more about applications here.
